Prof. Fairlamb is involved in core teaching at the University as well as taking optional teaching courses within the Chemistry department. Previous courses taught include year 1 NMR Spectroscopy and Mass Spectrometry (individually to chemists and biochemists), first year Introduction to Organic Chemistry and the running of the first year Synthesis Practical Course (for 3 years).
