Research Analytical Techniques

Our research group employ a raft of different techniques to study metal-catalysed and metal-mediated chemical processes.  These include ReactIR (in situ infra-red spectroscopy), ESI-MS, LIFDI-MS, photochemical systems, complex NMR spectroscopy, and the Synchrotron (XANES/EXAFS).

Lego Automation Project

As there is interest within the group of automating chemical reactions, work has been conducted to build and use Lego Mindstorms Robotics to help automate reactions. This has been particularly useful when running outreach or other public sessions. More information can be found by following the links below.
